Government designates 20 'Star Fabless'..."World's Top Fabless Emissions"

With the aim of fostering global semiconductor design companies and fabless, the government has decided to designate 20 domestic companies as "Star Fabless" to provide comprehensive support such as prototype production and finance.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced on the 28th that it held a "Global Star Fabless Launch Ceremony" at the Gyeonggi Business Growth Center.

Ten companies were selected as "Global Star Fabless," which is considered to have high global growth potential, including Abov Semiconductor, a microcontroller unit (MCU) designer, 3ALogics, a Near Field Communication (NFC) semiconductor designer, and POINT2 TECHNOLOGY, a communication semiconductor company.
